This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you use Smart Bus on iOS and Android.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Name, phone and/or email
• Password (stored as a hash)
• Special benefits application data and supporting documents

1.2 Location

• Used with your permission for nearby stops and estimated arrivals
• You may revoke access in system settings · We do not sell location data or use it for third-party ads

1.3 Usage data

• Sign-in logs, technical error logs, language preference

2. Purposes

• Account management and security
• Bus tracking, stops, and routes
• Special benefits / membership QR review and management
• Legal compliance and service improvement

3. Legal Bases (PDPA)

Processing under Thailand’s PDPA B.E. 2562, including consent, service performance, legitimate interests in securing the service.

4. Disclosure

May be shared with operational staff, necessary infrastructure providers, and competent authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal data for marketing.

5. Retention and Deletion

Retained as needed for stated purposes. Account deletion requests are handled under our process, except where law requires retention.

6. Security

HTTPS, password hashing, access controls, and token-based authentication.

7. Your Rights

Access, correction, deletion/restriction, and withdrawal of consent as permitted by law, via in-app Profile or the contact channels below.

8. Children

Students may use the app; please use with appropriate parental guidance.

9. Third-Party Services

Map/location providers (e.g. Google Maps) have their own privacy policies.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy and will revise the effective date/version.
